Great Post! I have only one of your books, but plan to change that, pronto! May I ask where the placemats are from? Love them!

You could not believe how many pages are falling out of my copies of DALS and DPB. Literally falling out. I bought DALS in 2012 a week before we made a huge move and I cooked almost exclusively from that for the next three years. Then DPB came out. I almost felt like I was cheating on you. The next three summers, winters, autumns, and springs were dinnertime joy with these two volumes taking prime real estate on my counter. Of course I bought HTCE the day it was released. My only daughter was 5 in 2012. Today she completed 5th grade. You have been part of our family journey. Thanks Jenny.

For dessert I made your MIL’s peach berry cobbler from HTCE, and it was such a hit! And so easy too. What a great recipe!

My family and I thank you for all of the delicious recipes you bring into our home 🙂 You probably already know this but the leftover quinoa roasted veggie mix topped with leftover Picnic Chicken was the best lunch I have ever had. Also, have you made the Hatch Burgers by putting the chiles directly into the meat patties? I always have several of those small cans of diced green chiles and thought it would be easier to put into the burger itself, but not sure if flavor would be compromised, Thank You!
