OK, this looks amazing! Grabbed the recipe from your link. I am doing OK. I actually slept from 11:45 to 6:10 AM without waking one time! That is a record for me!
You absolutely inspired my cooking yesterday. I made the challah, which I had to divide and give to friends. I made the Kouign Amann posted by someone on your face book feed. And, I made Kenzi’s lamb gyros on serious eats and the pitas at King Arthur Flour. All of that good food was balm for the soul, and I got to deliver pastries and challah to friends to spread some cheer last night.
Jenny – I noticed that your copy of the recipe doesn’t have weights – does her book? I really do NOT need another baking book as I’ve bought so many this fall – 100 Cookies is a current favorite – but it looks great! Thanks!
I bought the book. I made the simplest one, just to try it, and it was lovely, light, luscious, delectable. I’m going to make the sesame one this weekend, and eventually ALL of them. They are easy to make, and a reasonable amount of cake for a small family. So good.
