I don’t know about you but the DALS house is pumped for this premiere. (“The contestants may be small, but the challenges are huuuuge….”) Add some homemade Stromboli and we’ve got ourselves a Friday night.
PS: For no good reason, I’m giving away a copy of Dinner: A Love Story today. Leave a comment before tonight (Friday, September 27) at 8:00 ET, and you are eligible to win. Update: Keely (#9) is our winner. Thanks for playing everyone!
I’ve checked out DALS from my local library so many times it would be so incredible to finally have my own copy…plus it would allow more library patrons the chance to check out the library’s copy! 🙂
We too are looking forward to tonight’s episode! Someone is going to be thrilled to win a copy of your amazing book. It’s on my wish list for Christmas.
I would love a copy! Thanks for the chance.
Winning a copy of the book would be great. I gave some copies away for Christmas (to great reviews!) and forgot to hold onto one for myself, which is sad. With the school year back in full swing, I think your recipes would be even handier to have around.
I checked your book out at the library and read through it quickly…such and enjoyable read! It has renewed my hope in our family dinner. Thank you! Yes I would LOVE to win a copy!
Love your book. Have been thinking I need a hard copy, too.
Love your blog, your story. Would love a copy of your book!
That show looks really cute! I assume the judges will be a bit kinder and gentler than they are on grown-up Master Chef!
My kids love to cook and love good food will have to watch the show.
Ah! I just discovered your blog thanks to my friends obsession with Refinery29 and I just love it. I’m vegetarian but your deconstructed ideas are easy modify for any tastes/restrictions/allergies and of course you have a ton of veggie receipes anyway! love it.
This would be a nice ending to a rough, rough week.
I’d love to win your book. I’m sure we’d love to watch the show, too, except that so far I’ve managed to convince the kids that our cable subscription only picks up the baseball games, Jeopardy, and the Oscars.
Hi! I’ve been a lurker here for just about a month. Really enjoying your site!!
yes please!
I would love to win this. My copy is getting great use, and I think this would make a great gift for my friend Angie who loves to cook, and now has her boyfriend’s son to appease at the dinner table!
My son is 2 years old but he’s really into cooking already in his play kitchen!
That trailer definitely piqued my interest. But, seriously, no step stools? Poor little dudes! They seem unstoppable anyway.
I’m recovering from an injury at home and would love some recipe inspiration!
I love your web site, but I would probably give the book to my sister, who has two little kids and wasn’t the sibling who helped with dinner growing up!
I would love to win a copy!
I check your blog for new stuff a couple of times a week, and always find myself just checking in for ideas and inspiration! Love you guys!
I am blown away and jealous how good these kids can whip up a meal!
I’ve already bought your book, and I love it. I’m not leaving this comment for your book, but because it’s sad to see that it’s for the 48 state residents only. I live in Hawaii and most of the times shipping cost exactly the same through post office. But I see many websites not shipping to Hawaii. As your fan, it is disappointing to see we, the HI residents, are not even eligible to win a copy of your book.
I am making your pizza with my two other friends and their kids tomorrow. It’s delicious. I like this dough recipe more than the simpler version that requires an 18-hour rise. Yours is much easier to handle. Love it.
Aloha from your fan in Hawaii
Just bought the Kindle version of your book and I love reading it again! I checked it out of the library so I would love to win a copy.
Whew! In under the wire with just 2 minutes to spare. I’m a huge fan of DALS and my children are even bigger fans of many of meals:)
